The Cottage Wooden Shed is a variation on the Standard Wooden. The apex is on the side, as opposed to the front (like on Standard Wooden Sheds). Because of this, the side walls are that bit higher. That means that the Cottage shed is slightly taller than it’s Standard Shed counterpart. This is handy if you need that bit of extra height for storage reasons (and it also explains the price difference too).
Wooden Cottage Sheds are typically very popular with people with short gardens. They are wider than they are long, so they don’t take up too much space length-wise. It wouldn’t be uncommon to see customers adding double doors on the larger sized Cottage Sheds either so that large equipment can be easily stored.
What comes with the Wooden Cottage Shed as standard?
All our wooden cottage sheds will have:
- One Window (position variable)
- Mineral felt roof
- Solid board floor
- Supporting frame
- Steel hinges and bolt lock
What extras are available?
There is an almost endless amount of options for these sheds. These include:
- Upgraded Wood (Deluxe or Barrel Board Style)
- Pressure Treatment (you won’t need to varnish your shed for a decade!)
- Pressure Treating also adds an internal membrane lining for temperature control
- Steel Roofs
- Flower Boxes
- Double Doors
- Stable Doors
- 3 Shelves (5″ Deep)
- Spanish Lock (i.e. Lock and Key)
- An additional overhang on the roof
- Cat flaps
- and we can even remove your old wooden shed
These come in a range of sizes and with a variety of wooden finishes – you can see some of these options in the dropdown menus above; if you can’t see what you’re looking for call us on 018644247.
Check out this page if you’re unsure of the differences between the wood styles; We would not recommend the basic rustic wood if you are looking to store anything that may be affected by damp. Deluxe Wood would be a popular choice for Cottage Sheds.
We always have some cottage sheds available to see in our showroom here in Finglas. You can find us on Google Maps here if you’d like to come and see them for yourself! If you can’t make it over, contact us at 01 8644247 or on Facebook during business hours if you have any questions.
