    The panels on the Heavy Duty shed are the thickest in our entire shed range at 0.5mm

    Heavy Duty Shed

    These heavy duty sheds are the thickest sheds in our range and they are perfect if you need a more solid, robust shed than the average Joe needs. They’re coated with a 0.5mm thick layer of PVC, making them fireproof and rugged while also adding a tactile coating to the panels. The anti-con roof lining negates the need for vents and this layer protects against condensation.

    The taller door and roof heights make these one of (if not the) tallest sheds in Ireland.

    All of our steel shed sizes are measured width x length.

    Limited Availability

    These sheds are larger than the usual size of our other sheds and as a result, they are not currently available nationwide. These sheds are only available in:

    • Dublin
    • Meath
    • Wicklow
    • Louth
    • Kilare
    • and Westmeath

    If you are outside of the highlighted counties, you can collect your heavy-duty shed from our Finglas Warehouse.
    these can’t be collected in standard vehicles, however. You will need:

    • A flatbed van or truck with an unrestricted height.
    • The shed comes with full length frames, and as such, your vehicle will need to be able to hold the longest part in full
    • You will need to be able to safely and securely tie these parts down.

    Heavy Duty Shed Assembly

    These sheds have less panels, pieces and they require less work to put together than our Classic Range, for example. With that said, assembly does require at least two people to execute. Assembly details are as follows:

    • These sheds are part-assembled for self-assembly.
    • The recommended assembly time depending on the size you choose is 2-4 hours.
    • 2-person assembly is required. (It would be highly unsafe and very difficult to assemble this shed alone)
    • Our cladded sheds are supplied without an internal floor / floor frame. The internal floor is not required, however, it can be added on for an additional fee.
      • If purchasing the floor frame & ply flat packed, please note that the ply is not cut to size.
    • A side entrance / full access with a minimum height of 8ft 5″ is required for these sheds.
    • We can offer an assembly service for these sheds depending on location. Please contact us on 018644247 to get a quote and to check availability.

    Extras

    These heavy duty sheds have very strong flooring that can be added on for an additional cost. However, this flooring can also be raised  up onto the middle bars and pushed to the edge to create a solid bench to hold your stored items.

    Important Notes

    • These sheds require a solid, level base (e.g. concrete, hardcore stone, tarmac etc.)
      • While our Shed Bases can be used, we would strongly recommend that they are filled with concrete and allowed to set before the shed is laid upon them.
    • The assembly service for these sheds is only currently available on Saturdays
    • These sheds do not come with internal flooring of ply flooring as standard, however this can be added on for an additional fee
      • Please note that with flat-packed orders, the ply will not be cut to size; it will be the customers’ responsibility to cut it as required.
