Shed Collections

At Sheds Direct Ireland, we can offer shed collections for our flat-packed steel sheds. However, you can’t just rock up at any old time with a Honda 50 and expect to take away a Colossus shed. Here, we’ll outline our steel shed collection procedure.

 

What products can I collect?

All our garden equipment, heaters and other ‘small’ products can be collected in store as normal from our Finglas Showroom. We do not offer collection of products from our Naas Road/N7 Branch.

Larger products like sheds, patio boxes, balcony stores will need to be collected from our warehouse in Finglas.

• We can accommodate shed collections on all our Steel Sheds from our Finglas Warehouse. You will need to check in with the staff in the Finglas Showroom first, to have the collection signed-off.
• We do not offer Wooden Sheds flat-packed, so we cannot offer collection on these sheds.

 

What days can I collect?

Collections are strictly only available on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays only – and only between the following hours:

Tuesday: 10.00am – 2.30pm
Wednesday: 10.00am – 2.30pm
Friday: 10.00am – 2.30pm
Saturday: 10.00am – 2.30pm

Do I need to make arrangements before I collect?

Not necessarily.

If you are purchasing a shed in-store on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, you can go from the showroom straight to the warehouse (during stated collection hours) and the team can help load your shed. In most instances, there is no need to phone in advance for single purchase items. During peak season (May-August) however, we would recommend calling to ensure that the shed you want is in stock and ready for collection from the warehouse. If you are planning on purchasing multiple products that require several vehicles to be loaded, we would ask that you contact us beforehand at 01 864 4247, so that we can prepare/advise you if it is possible in advance.

Just to be aware, some products like the Premium Sheds and Premium Woodgrain sheds come in multiple boxes and they may not fit into every car.

 

Collecting online after an online order

Sheds aren’t Chicken Curries – I can’t stress that enough. We do not recommend ordering online at 1pm and coming to collect the shed at 1.15pm. If however you order on say a Monday and collect from Tuesday onwards, this would be no issue. We recommend ordering in-store if you plan on collecting the shed on the same day. If you order online, your order may be sitting at the bottom of our online order list and this can cause delays to you when you arrive.

 

What sizes are the shed boxes?

Most of our Classic steel sheds come in boxes that are 6ft long, 5ft wide and 2.5ft tall. The Colossus comes in two of those boxes. The Premium and Woodgrain sheds come in considerably more boxes.

Where is the warehouse located?

If you are collecting a shed from us, you will need to pop into our Finglas Showroom and make a payment/present your invoice for validation first. Do not arrive to the warehouse before visiting the showroom. Once these details are confirmed, you can visit our Warehouse to make a collection. You can see how to get there from our Showroom by viewing this Google Maps. Our staff will also be able to assist you with directions in store.

The warehouse team will then assist you in loading your shed into your vehicle.
Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shed will fit into their vehicle prior to arrival. You can call our showroom at 01 864 4247 and ask for the box dimensions if you cannot find them on the product’s page.
