A-Grip Vented Floor Tiles are the ideal addition to any busy workspace. These tiles are used all around Ireland in Factories, Garages, Warehouses, Pubs and even in private residences on patios and in greenhouses. If you need a raised, softer floor surface that is easy to clean, these A-Grip tiles might be just what you’re looking for.
Features
These A-Grip tiles are durable, slip-resistant and easy to install. Here is more information about their main benefits.
Slip-Resistant
These A-Grip tiles have all been tested and are compliant with BS EN 7976-2 standards. This is the only slip resistance test recommended by the HSE. If you want to read more about these standards and how rigid the tests are, check out UK Slip Resistance Group‘s post about what’s involved.
Fire Resistant
These tiles have also been tested for their burning behaviour and they meet all standards of:
- EN ISO 11925-2: Fs < 150mm within 20 seconds
- EN 13501-1:2018: Classified as EFL
All’s to say that these are built for purpose.
Interlocking installation of the A-Grip Vented Floor Tiles
One major advantage of these tiles over the competition is their interlocking installation system. No Adhesive is required. This makes it simple to install – but also to take up should there be a spill that needs to be cleaned.
Reduced Colour Fading
These colours are bright and they’re designed to stay that way for as long as is possible. There is a UV stabiliser built into the PP material, which are specially selected to help reduce fading from weather and sunlight.
Dust Resistance
An anti-static agent is also added to the materials which helped to reduce the attraction of dust to the tiles.
A-Grip Vented Floor Tiles: Materials
These are made from high-quality polypropylene (PP). This means they’re surprisingly strong and they’re made to last.
Common Uses
These tiles are typically used in garages, warehouses, and other industrial spaces.
That said, these tiles offer uses for the home too and they’re great for patios and kitchens. The tiles are particularly useful for people with reduced mobility as they reduce falling risk and offer a softer surface than tiling.
