We’re committed to supporting our local community.
At Sheds Direct Ireland, we are committed to supporting our local community grow and flourish in the ways that they need to. Here are some of the ways we’ve helped local charities, Teams and more.
The list below is ordered alphabetically, not by date.Â
Â
Children’s Books Ireland
In 2023, Sheds Direct Ireland sponsored Children’s Books Ireland’s Book Clinics at Dublin Castle. This gave children the opportunity to visit a ‘Book Doctor’ and get a script for a book recommendation, along with some reading materials, too. We also had the distinction of building the first shed inside the grounds of Dublin Castle!

Coolronan Dog Rescue
During Covid, we donated two Goldilocks Sheds and €1,500 in funding (which was backed up with an additional €1,000+ from our followers on Facebook) to the Coolronan Dog Rescue. Since then, they have continues to help dogs find new, loving homes.

Dogs Aid
We, somewhat controversially, donated €100 to the Dogs Aid every time that England scored in the Euros in 2024. They only scored 8 times in open play, but we rounded it up to €1,000. We also allowed the Dogs Aid to takeover our Facebook page, which has considerably more followers, to help rehome some of their amazing pooches.

Â
Meeting Place Club
The Meeting Place Club offers a space for young people with special needs to come together for fun activities and targeted interventions to improve social skills, issues of anxiety or other presenting needs. When Dougie popped in to look for a small shed for storing his goods, we arranged for a shed to be delivered and installed at a fraction of the cost.
Â
Monkstown Minis
The Monkstown Minis are the junior arm of the Monkstown FC Rugby Club. They support grassroots rugby, providing children from the ages of 4-12 with a fun, inclusive, respectful and safe environment to learn the game of rugby. In 2026 we sponsored the new scoreboard at their home ground which will benefit both the rugby and cricket teams. As a thank you, they put our logo on their junior teams’ jerseys.

Â
My Lovely Horse / My Lovely Pig Charity
My Lovely Horse Resuce had an old barn that was badly damaged in a storm. We stepped in to make sure their animals didn’t go without a Food Store. We offered a new Premium Mammoth Shed, and Zim made a concrete base for it to sit onto. We also gave them a new cart after seeing what they were working with in their post!

Â
North Dublin Cat Rescue
We have had a long partnership with the NDCR. In May 2025, we designed, manufactured and delivered purpose-built cat huts at no cost, to the team (and cats) there. They were very well received – clearly:

Â
Sensational Kids
Just before Christmas 2022, we gave 50 LED Swings to Sensational Kids, a charity that supports disadvantaged families who have children which have been diagnosed with ASD. We then teamed up with Boyzone’s own Ketih Duffy to give away 6 more to our followers on Facebook, with proceeds from each further sale of these Swings going to Snowflake Autism Support.

Shelbourne FC
Since 2025 we have been a proud sponsor of Shelbourne FC men and women’s teams. In 2026, we expanded our sponsorship, partnering with the junior teams to further their mission of growing grassroots football in Ireland.
Paddy Barrett and Mark Coyle even came to the opening of our Naas Road showroom:
