Covers for Solar Batteries
The general market for purpose-build covers for solar batteries isn’t great. They’re either highly specific and will only work on certain models, or prohibitively expensive. You don’t have to take my word for it, I’m sure a specific search for products like these brought you to this page, sure.
That’s why I’m proposing that our Door Canopies are ideal for what you need. They offer coverage, they’re simple to install and we’ve various different sizes which can be attached to each other to extend the width of coverage, if needed.
Will Door Canopies Work?
I’d stand over that they will really work. Or rather, I’ll stand under them. They’ve been sold here for almost a decade and the only issues that I hear about them is from people who tried to install them on a pebble-dashed wall. You can’t be doing that now, lads. They need a flat surface – obviously. A flat surface will allow even and easy bolting, and it won’t product any gaps between the wall and canopy.
These beauties are designed to keep you dry on your doorstep, but we’ve seen people use them to cover side-passages and others use them along the side of a home to cover the washing! They’re so simple to use, that they lend themselves to improvisation. In that vein, they’re an ideal cover for Solar Inverters.

Providing that you get canopies with the same depth, you can attach them up and extend the range of coverage. So while you might just be planning to cover the battery, the garden tools and kids’ bikes might end up with a nice shaded spot too!
